Comic Artie Lange ‘seven Months Sober’ Following Rehabilitation Stint


Artie Lange is “seven months sober” following a stint in rehab earlier this year.

The 51-year-old comedian was ordered to attend a six-month drug treatment program in March, after checking favorable for drug two times in 2 months.

And requiring to Twitter on Tuesday, the star revealed the treatment was a success, composing along with a snap of himself: “Great to be house!

” 7 months 2 week sober but one day at a time. Lots of new stories to tell. Will announce some brand-new tour dates on Friday. Thanks for the support. Love you all.”

Fans fasted to praise the star for taking control of his dependency, telling him he looks “fantastic” after losing a substantial quantity of weight and lauding him as an “inspiration”.

The funnyman is currently serving four years’ probation for drug possession, for which he was sentenced back in 2018.
