Oscar nominee Terrence Howard is made with acting when his hit TELEVISION drama Empire ends after one final season.

The actor made his retirement announcement during an interview with TELEVISION show Additional on Wednesday, exposing there are other things he wishes to do with his life.

” I’m done with acting. I’m done pretending,” he said. “I’m just concentrating on bringing truth to the world.”

The typically puzzling star didn’t go into details about his post-acting plans, however he admitted he will miss his Empire castmates when the hit show wraps: “I will miss them a lot, and the crew.”

The final season of Empire will premiere in America on 24 September.
