Disney Boss Leads Hollywood Heavyweights On 2019 THR 100 List


Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger has actually kept his crown as the most effective person in entertainment on The Hollywood Reporter’s 4th annual THR 100 list.

He beats out Netflix managers Ted Sarandos and Reed Hastings, and Brian Roberts and Steve Burke, the CEOs of Comcast Corp. and NBCUniversal on the brand-new countdown.

Former U.S. Ptesident Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama make their debut on the list at 50, thanks to their brand-new Higher Ground Productions venture and Netflix offer, while Hollywood heavyweights Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Dwayne Johnson, and Brad Pitt make the list at numbers 15, 38, 39, and 54, respectively.

Actress Zendaya also makes the countdown at 95, as do filmmakers Ava DuVernay (59 ), J.J. Abrams (19 ), and Jordan Peele (42 ).
