The Miami Dolphins have made numerous trades this season, and it appears the front office isn’t done yet. With the trade due date only 2 weeks away, Kenyan Drake could be the next player on the move.
Earlier this season, the Dolphins shipped out former first-round pick Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Pittsburgh Steelers. They also traded Laremy Tunsil to the Houston Texans for a bundle of draft selections.
It’s obvious that Miami is looking towards the future, so it makes sense to unload expiring contracts to teams that remain in contention. For that reason alone, the group might trade Drake in the coming weeks.
According to NFL Network expert Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins have had trade conversations with teams focused around Drake.
Miami will supposedly deal the shifty tailback if the right offer emerges.
When it comes to Drake, the former Alabama product is looking for a new chance.
Sources: The #Dolphins have had trade conversations with groups focused around RB Kenyan Drake, and the group has shown they would trade him if the ideal offer presented itself. Drake, who has had no extension talks with Miami since camp, would invite a brand-new opportunity.

Drake’s numbers this year aren’t that noteworthy, however he’s playing on a group that does not have a strong supporting cast. A change of surroundings might do marvels for the former third-round pick.
Thinking about where the Dolphins are at today, it wouldn’t be very surprising if they trade Drake.
Stay tuned for more trade news as the due date is approaching fairly quickly.
