Lady plunges down construction-zone hole in Midtown

-

A female failed a hole in a Manhattan walkway Friday– just days after a male was found dead in a neighboring manhole, police said.

The 50-year-old victim was spotted wailing at the bottom of the rectangle-shaped pit, roughly four feet below the crossway of West 35th Street and 8th Avenue in Midtown, according to video obtained by The Post.

Construction teams had actually been working on a portion of the street when she walked by and fell into the hole at around 2:45 p.m., according to cops. It wasn’t right away clear if there was a cover over it.

The lady was rushed Bellevue Health center in non-life-threatening condition, authorities stated.

The occurrence comes three days after workers discovered the badly disintegrated body of an evident drunk who stumbled into a manhole– and was munched by rats– in Columbus Circle.
