A Palo Alto city worker died Saturday in an office occurrence.
According to a City of Palo Alto press release, a five-member city energies team was upgrading an electric transformer near East Field Drive and also Middlefield Roadway when the incident took place at 9:47 a.m
. The Palo Alto Fire Department moved the injured crew member to a local healthcare facility. He later died from his injuries.
