Fortnite Servers Down to Implement Update 13.20

-

Epic Games is bringing patch 13.20 of the popular battle royale game Fortnite into action today. Servers went offline at 2 AM ET. The update is being rolled out across all platforms, including PS4, Xbox, Switch, Mobile and PC.

Epic Games had announced on Twitter-

“We’re adding new flare to the game.v13.20 arrives Tuesday, June 30. (Yes, we jumped numbers!) Downtime will begin at 2 AM ET (06:00 UTC).”

The “add new flare” phrase has been interpreted by fans as a return of the flare gun.

During maintenance time, matchmaking will be disabled for all Fortnite modes. Players can log back in and download the patch once the maintenance is done.

The update is expected to include new skins and bug fixes. Leaks have suggested that a Captain America skin maybe showing up in the update, following the Deadpool and Aquaman skins already in action.
