RHOA Star Nene Leakes Lands Spin off show on E!

Big news out of the Bravo clubhouse where Leakes has announced she has signed a deal to star in her own program on the E! network. Instagram account @Realhousewivesfranchise shared fortunately with fans.

The program is stated to be entitled Glamsquad Showdown. The series will be produced by Shed Media with Dan Peirson working as the executive producer. Glamsquad Face-off will be a comedic beauty competition series that is intending to shed the spotlight on the very best celebrity hair and makeup teams.

The once-proud peach will be hosting the gig with Brad Goreski. The show is set to occur weekly with 2 star buddies entering their glam groups of hair, makeup, and closet consultants. The groups will each display their abilities on a makeover subject. They will go head-to-head throughout 2 challenges. The squads will pull contestants out of the live studio audience for makeovers also. The end objective is to be able to win ultimate bragging rights that consist of cash prize for the charity of their choice.

Fans who have followed the story know Leakes had been given a contract by Bravo but waited to sign it. Leakes’ manager had spoken out, revealing that she is holding out for a larger project. The mom of two wanted to land a big deal and to be paid what she feels she was worth. Claiming bigger and much better appears to have actually worked as she will finally be standing in the spotlight, a moment she has yearned for since starting on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
