A lot of online speculation claims that “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” is scheduled to be cancelled. But maybe, this time, the conspiracy theorists are just not right. And these rumours aren’t true!

Talk shows, are even to this day, a very huge part of the entertainment industry. With hosts like Oprah being in the scene, who was literally the queen of daytime talk shows, Ellen took over the audience and managed to grow into those shoes overtime. But recently, online sources have turned their trend against her, subjecting her to accusations and claims of the shows cancellation with no fact checking. And this is a result of that.

The question they’re looking at is not whether Ellen is actually losing her show, but whether she should. And that is not the point here! The reason for the alleged cancellation was the low ratings the show received in recent months. But the light has been shifted from that to allegations about Ellen mistreating her employees.

The lockdown caused due to the pandemic led the star to host the show from her house in California. She faced severe criticism when people claiming to be her ex-employees took to social media to narrate their bad experiences with the talk show host.

Amid these stories hitting the headlines, her bodyguard Tom Majercak expressed in an interview that the star was being “kind of demeaning”. DeGeneres declined to comment on this.

But to address the issue of the show being cancelled, the reps of the show disregarded the rumours and told The New York Post that “Telepictures can confirm it’s untrue”.

But come what may, the show must go on..!
