Snipes Teams up with Puma to encourage voting in the 2020 Election

Today, on National Voter Registration Day, SNIPES USA and PUMA are debuting technologies in all 95 Snipes retail locations to make voter registration easy to its consumers, family and friends for its new  #USEYOURVOICE campaign.

Voting in the elections is one of the key freedoms of American life. Your vote could make a impact. Over the course of the next two months, SNIPES will put its full power behind creating awareness about the voting process throughout its local communities. 

Here is how it works: Customers engage with the in-store #USEYOURVOICE campaign through either a Vengo kiosk or QR code scanning sign that launches to the appropriate state voting site. Four key locations: the three Philadelphia stores and the first 2.0 store at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, have interactive Vengo kiosks that send voter registration links and dispense reusable custom Snipes- and PUMA-branded #USEYOURVOICE masks. All other stores use custom in-store signage with QR codes that easily scan to drive shoppers to voter registration and information sites in their states. 

The #USEYOURVOICE campaign runs until the voter registration deadline of October 19. Once customers are engaged, participants answer survey questions about their voter registration status and state of residence to seamlessly receive information on how to register and the process of voting in their state. Up until Election Day on November 3, the in-store kiosks and QR codes will push consumers to state voting sites with information on local polling locations. 

“2020 is an unprecedented election year and SNIPES understands that it’s important for our consumers to use their voice and play a role in democracy, through action. With the #USEYOURVOICE campaign, we believe that by providing the latest technology, we will help empower youth to act and use their voice when it matters the most,” said Adam Herstig, Head of Marketing at SNIPES USA said in a statement sent to Drew Reports News.

“PUMA is committed to taking action and supporting our ambassadors and partners in getting out the vote,” said Allison Giorgio, Vice President of Marketing at PUMA North America. “We are excited to team up with SNIPES and support their #USEYOURVOICE campaign to help drive civic involvement ahead of this year’s election. We recognize that when people unify for a greater cause, we can collectively change the world with our vote.”

Full Pandemic safety measures continue to be in place at all Snipes USA locations. All patrons must wear a face mask and keep a distance of six feet from one another while shopping. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET, with voter registration sign-ups available during all operating hours.
