Atlanta cops have actually collared the man who shot dead a star known for his roles in Spike Lee motion pictures, polices stated Friday.
Antonio Demetrice Rhynes, 30, was arrested Friday morning and charged with felony murder in the passing of Thomas Jefferson Byrd, who was known for his roles in Lee’s flicks “He Got Game,” “Clockers” and “Ray.”.
Cops got a warrant for Rhynes on Wednesday and tracked him down at an apartment complex in southwest Atlanta after the general public assisted in identifying the gunman, according to an email from the Atlanta Authorities Department.
Rhynes will be kept in the Fulton County Prison, police officers said.
Byrd, 70, was discovered deceased in Atlanta around 1:45 a.m. Oct. 3 after being shot numerous times in the back, according to polices. The motive for his shooting is uncertain.
Lee applauded the actor on social networks when Byrd’s passing was announced previously this month.
