Odell Beckham remains far from the Cleveland Browns facility while handling a non pandemic related condition.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Friday morning that Odell remain bar from Browns facility per protocol.
Beckham was sent home Thursday with a undisclosed illness.
All Browns players, including Beckham, tested negative during Thursday’s round of testing, per Pelissero.
Out of an abundance of caution, players with cold or flu signs, even if they test negative, are being held out of the building this year to help stop the spread. So, player with coughs, sore throats, stuffy noses, and so on will be kept at home even with negative tests.
According to the NFL’s policy, any player that experiences any pandemic like symptoms should be removed from the team facility and can not return until 2 successive PCR tests separated by 24 hr come back negative.
