Authorities are examining the slayings of two teenagers at a house they shared near Griffith in Lake County.
The victims were determined by the Lake County Coroner’s Offices as Maxwell Kroll, 17, and Elijah Robinson, 18.
The slayings are thought to have happened between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. Friday, the Lake County Sheriff’s Department stated.
Officers were dispatched to the home at 11:45 a.m. Friday when the girlfriend of among the victims called 911, Lake County Sheriff Oscar Martinez stated. She told cops she went to the home after unsuccessfully trying to reach her sweetheart by phone, The (Northwest Indiana) Times reported.
When officers showed up, they found the bodies.
The coroner has not yet defined the cause or time of their passings and cops have not released whether any obvious wound marks point to how the victims passed away.
