The first arena concert in the US since this pandemic began has been announced by the Three 6 Mafia. The show is expected to take place 12/11 at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.
The show will be hosted by Sean Da Don and Project Pat, featured special guest. Gem and Real Gates will also perform.
The Three 6 Mafia has confirmed that the government has confirmed the concert, and has asked to take proper precautions keeping the pandemic in mind. The masks and Social distancing are to be followed, said Juicy J said in a video on Instagram while promoting the event.
The arena which comprises of 21,017 seats is being scaled down to 15% of its capacity. They have allowed a total of 3152 people to attend the concert including the event staff in socially distanced blocks of four seats.
Everyone attending this event has to wear face masks and are asked to practice the social distancing protocol for the entire duration of the event.
The guests are subjected to temperature check on their arrivals. Anyone found unwell will be exempted from attending the concert.
Lexington Center Corporation CEO Bill Owen says that they have been in constant contact with the KY State Department of Health for many weeks now taking care of every little detail possible.
This is done in order to fulfil the safety protocols recommended by the CDC and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
CEO Owen further adds that they are confident that the safety measures they have put in place provide a safe environment for people to come out and enjoy the live show with their friends and family.
Bill Owen says that they are very excited about this opportunity to reopen and welcome the people back to Rupp Arena.
